I read "Trust" by Tim Metty because he had asked me to review the book for him before it was released to the general public. That's right. I was reviewing his book for him. I think my review even got onto the back cover of the book.
Even If I hadn't reviewed it for him, I think that I would have read it anyways, as he is a family friend of mine, and we love supporting him and his work.
That said, the book was amazing and I felt like it was one of the best things I have read in a long time. I would strongly recommend reading "Trust" if you feel like it, or if you want to read a book from a local author. This book was one of the first books I have gotten to review, and books like these are always great.
And a side note, if you ever get the chance to review a book, take the opportunity. I'ts pretty cool knowing that you are one of the first people in the world to read a certain book. Especially if it gets popular and you have a quote on the back, and thousands of people can read what you said about it. Its a good feeling that everyone can get, if they try hard enough. Reviewing a book is a very great experience.
In short, this book was a great read, and I would strongly recommend it to anyone, no mater what type of books they read.
Thats really cool how you got to read it before it was released, and review it. I like how you included how you felt about reviewing books
ReplyDeleteI think that that's really cool how you got to review the book and that you know the author!
ReplyDeleteI think its really crazy that you know an author! I wish i did. I would feel famous! How would you rate this book on a scale of 1-10?
ReplyDeleteI would rate this book about 8.5 out of 10.
DeleteIt was pretty good.
That is really awesome that you got to review a book for an author and that you know him to! What is the book Trust about?
ReplyDeleteIts kind of hard to explain what it was about. You might want to start reading the series to figure it out. Its kind of long, though.
DeleteThe first book is already out. Its called "Secrets," and "Trust" comes out on October 10th. You can get them both on Amizon. I don't know how much they cost though. I also reviewed "Secrets," too, by the way if you were also wondering that! :)
This is so cool! Is he a professional author? That is very cool that your reviw might be on the back of the book.
