The tone in "Trust" by Tim Metty is supposed to be serious and sincere. It is that because the main characters are trying their hardest to find who they are looking for. They keep looking until they find what they are looking for, and i is said specifically to the reader what they are trying to do.
The mood that I get from reading "Trust" is a scene of bravery, courage and accomplishment. evidence form the text is where it says "I hopped of the balcony into the fire and ran through it with ease."
A particular moment in the novel that swayed the beliefs of the characters was when Nicholas told the others he was the one they were looking for all along, and everyone believed him when he said it the first time. His tone impacted his persuasiveness by saying what he said in a bold, strong tone and he was believed because of that, and events that happened during the time he realized he was the fourth.
this sounds like a pretty good book so why are they looking for someone?
